Did anyone else got distracted by this weird timeline?

Yes I did also!!! I went back & looked at the face of Nihad from the prison scene vs the pool scene & I wish I only aged that much in 20 year!!! I wonder why Nihad was not made to look older in the pool scene? This made it more difficult to grasp that Nihad was the father.

She leaves prison around 1989 so the twins should be around 20 when she dies??? (Played by mid-30 actors). And Nihad was around 16 when he started raping her….

Completely shaken by the turn of events I witnessed in this movie. Started watching this movie quite reluctantly as I’m not very keen about watching foreign language movies relying on subtitles alone but just 15 minutes into the film, the story just gripped and kept me hooked up to the screen. But nothing could’ve prepared me for the intense suspense waiting to be revealed at the end. What a memorable watch! Touching and heart-breaking…
