If it were the real Sarah, why not try to warn people about what’s happening? If there’s one ‘Hole’, there certainly must be others.
The replica probably got rid of the COPY CHRIS because the REAL CHRIS could show her how to be MORE HUMAN, and she couldn’t have two Chrises running around. It proved further that she was SEEKING HUMAN KNOWLEDGE by showing her seated in a college classroom at the end. If she knew how to be human, then she could help the others like her integrate into society unnoticed. That’s what started the panic in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. People knew that there was a change in other people. If the NEWBIES go unnoticed, they could assimilate easier.
I’m a widowed mother of four, and I do understand how this movie could be a metaphor for the strife of single mothers. I guess that this is why this was such a good movie. You can come up with your own interpretation of what it was about.

There is no more difficult job on the planet then that of a single mother.” This statement really should be changed to “there is no more difficult job on the planet than that of a single PARENT.” Single mothers have it tough and they don’t get enough credit for all they do. But single fathers basically get no credit at all since the world conveniently forgets we even exist.
