I was 11 when it came out and obsessed over all things about it, even the soundtrack. Anyway, now that I’ve revealed my age, I’m a huge Ridley fan as well. I watched the first 3 episodes of this and am truly impressed because you know I’m a sci fi dystopian loving kind of gal. Mother is all sorts of frightening, most of all because she thinks she is doing right by those children. But who knows how this will turn out since there aren’t very many humans left? So perhaps an Android is better suited after all. I guess we will find out in the coming episodes!

Sorry Taylor, I got you beat on crushing on Ridley Scott movies. My mom took me and my brother to watch Alien on the big screen. Yeah, I was only 9 years old and my brother was a whole 6 years old, but she was young and couldn’t afford a babysitter. I’m pretty impressed with what I’m seeing so far. I am curious to see where the philosophical discussion between religion and technology will go. I’m a girl who loves a good series, but I also like shiny movie eye candy. Ridley Scott never disappoints.
