this is why the film is so good. This is all of us. We’ve all done unkind, and even terrible things. Maybe not this sort of thing. But if put in this situation, who’s to say what you would do. But you are right, it is the editing here that just knocks it out of the park. The reveal is so good.

Great little movie. I really loved it. I even enjoyed digging into the history of the Dinkas (or Jiengs) and about the tribal conflicts and chaos that has happened. But my review was way too long. And there was election coverage that I my mind wouldn’t stop thinking about!!

But I was thinking maybe they stole money or even killed someone for money. My mind didn’t even know how to go to ripping a child from her mother to get on the bus! So you go through the film asking why these lovely people are being haunted to realizing they really had it coming. But I guess we can never understand what people could be capable of to flee the atrocities in their countries. Such a great film.
