But this Chuck Norris of Unicyclists is flipping and bouncing like he’s on a pogo stick.
I learned to unicycle in high school. I spent much of my high school years zipping around the school and my town on one wheel, oblivious to the fact that everyone called me a dweeb behind my back! hahah. I had my unicycle stolen one day while at school. (I know, who steals a bike with one wheel?) And that ended that hobby. I mean, you’d be surprised to find out that a unicycle runs about the same price as a Bi-cycle. So I chose not to replace it.
UNTIL, someone brought one to a White Elephant Christmas gift exchange. Right?! I was a man on a mission that day. Let’s just put it this way, I left the building with the unicycle. And a few people may have required stitches. Coincidence. Total coincidence. Anyway. I’ve gotten back into riding it again with the kids as they ride their bikes.
But watching this video basically depresses me he’s so good! For example, riding and staying still in one place. Tricky. Riding down stairs, tricky. Jumping off walls, and hoping UP stairs? Impossible. You can see though that he’s using nobby tires? And the wheel is highly deflated? Maybe he’s on to something there? Gonna have to try it out!
