Telemarketers Is Gritty Detective Brilliance – Watch Now. If you are my friend. Wait. If you are my close-ish buddy. No. If you are someone that was looking for equine health information and you accidentally ended up on this page? Then you need to stop what you are doing and go watch HBO’s brilliant new documentary called Telemarketers.
Do you remember when podcasts were made by clueless screwups that woke up one day and thought… you know what? I’m going to make a podcast… and solve the RedWoodAxe Murders while I’m at it? Those? (But now they are all done by huge money – CBS, PBS, Amazon, whatever… and they are so terrible!?) That is what this documentary is like. But worse. It’s as if, two drug heads, working at a dead end job, decide, you know what? While we are taking part in this HORRIBLY IMMORAL TERRIBLENESS, maybe we should document ourselves, so that on the off chance… maybe we will figure out what all this immoral horribleness is… and uncover the truth for the world. But they literally do. Like… while smoking dope and running from cops, and … it’s crazy. And I love it so much.
First though – a warning. If you are even SLIGHTLY dodgy in the world of swearing? This movie isn’t for you. If you are even SLIGHTLY dodgy in the world of ACTIVE drug use? This movie isn’t for you.
Quick Overview on This Your New Favorite Show
They’re flipping the script on a billion-dollar industry. This 3-part HBO Original Documentary from Sam Lipman-Stern and Pat Pespas… as they go from the world’s dodgy telemarketer employees to whistleblowers on a twenty-year mission to take down the telemarketing industry. At first, we watch as the duo just document the world’s worst place to work… but where no one would work anywhere else but there… CDG. Then we learn that CDG might just be up to no good whatsoever? Huh, who knew? But when they get shutdown, it’s like finding a hive of cockroaches fleeing under your boot. They are everywhere, and CDG is not going to be stopped.
Gotta say, this should be nominated for the most addictive crack cocaine substitute ever filmed. Watched 30 seconds and could not stop watching this 100% perpetual car crash that just keeps tumbling down the hill over and over again. The best? When the duo actually get an interview with Charity Navigator… they have absolutely no idea what they are doing, or why. But then the hurricane comes! Craziest show ever.
Telemarketers Is Gritty Detective Brilliance – Watch Now – or else I will not like you any more. Because it’s the greatest show ever.
