Lyfe is a “zero-gravity growing system allowing you to cultivate your favorite plants in mid-air.”
The Kickstarter project was launched earlier this month and surpassed their funding goal of US$80,000 in 48 hours. They have currently raised over US$180,000, with 17 days to go left in the campaign. Personally? Not a fan of caring or feeding plants. But I’d care and feed a floating plant. Because anything that floats is ALWAYS, as a rule, better than anything that doesn’t. Sheer physics right there.
Personally curious what would happen if I were to plant a sequoia in one. But that’s just me being a dork. I would love to have one of these fantastic floating planters even if the only thing I could get to survive in it would be a dandelion. Even weeds take on a preternatural brilliance in these floating planters.
