Last week we had some fun movies… Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Bullet Train, and Prey. If you haven’t checked them out yet. You need to do so. Also, Spotlight 79 highlighted Resurrection, which I absolutely loved and will be doing a write up really soon. So get caught up and watched that one as well.
Emily the Criminal – 8.12
Aubrey Plaza as a criminal? Yes please. Enough said. Opens this Friday in theaters.
Collide – 8.5
Gotta admit, this looks maybe a bit cheezzy? But, I have loved Ryan Phillipe since his early days – specifically Playing by Heart. Anyway – I’m going to be watching this one… AS SOON AS I CAN FIND IT! Anyone? Help? To make matters worse? There are two 2022 Collide movies. Fun. I know. Anyway, love your help if you are able to find a streaming service with this one. THANKS! But as far as I know, it released on 8.5… that’s what IMDB is saying anyway.
Fire of Love – 7.6
I missed this one when it was in the theaters. (Which, obviously, was when I was in Switzerland.) But apparently Discovery+ is planning to release this to streaming at some point?? But I’m not sure when. This story looks awesome though – about a couple that are seriously into volcanoes. Cool. Weird, but cool. But then they disappear? Like, vanish? So, what happened? I literally don’t know more than that, and don’t want to know. I’m dying to see what the documentary reveals.
