Wonder how long the ripple of the strike will continue to impact the movie universe? Probably for the next year or more I would imagine. Regardless, here are three decent films to look for. Also, I just finished watching Race to the Summit and really enjoyed that, even if I was terrified by it. I also enjoyed Love at First Sight, believe it or not. 2023.09.26 SAVIOR COMPLEX
Renee Bach was a young American missionary who set up a charity for malnourished children in Jinja, Uganda. But shocking allegations arose that Renee was treating the sick children herself, without any medical qualifications. Scary. Evil. Looks truly horrible. Sounds something like Dr. Death maybe… but worse if that is physically possible? Believe it released on September 26th, over on HBO.

Even superheroes need to go to school. In fact, those with supernatural powers are the ones who need guidance and teaching. The Godolkin University of Crimefighting is the only college dedicated exclusively to teaching young supes how to save the day. The Godolkin way involves pitching angsty teens against each other to compete for crimefighting contracts across US cities. While competition can certainly breed success, it will also leave plenty nursing wounds and mopping up their own blood from the cafeteria floor.

When the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer” returns, 35 years after his first murder spree, to claim another victim, 17-year-old Jamie accidentally travels back in time to 1987, determined to stop the killer before he can start.
