I absolutely adore these fastidiously perfect little animations. At first I thought they were just adorable. And then I started considering actually designing my own, and how they were done... and my mind just ceased. Done.
Take the clean lines of schematics and add an element of the surreal and you have Strati's look. Many of his schematics?, designs?, works?, remind me of cathedrals, which adds even another layer to the works for me.
The city is bright white. All the paths that are available to you are floodlit with red. As you run you figure out your best options and choose the right paths on the fly. When its clicking Mirror's Edge it makes you feel like a god among men. Its such an amazing feeling.
It's just maddeningly amazing that this piece exists and that it is shared between a father and a daughter makes me want to explode from the awesomeness of it.
