THE DEEPEST BREATH – NOW
Look – I’m halfway through this one, and absolutely loving it so much it’s scaring me to death. I’m nearly certain, that ALL the divers in this documentary end up dying. You may or may not know this but, The Big Blue is one of my favorite movies of all time. So I’m pretty emotionally connected to this idea of free diving – I even followed the sport for a bit, until I realized how absolutely, mind-alteringly, dangerous it is. Anyway, watch this one, it’s fantastic.
SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL – 07.28.23

This thing looks SCARY. Like, SCARY. Another A24 film – so it’s going to be good. Or, at the very least, scary. If not scary good anyway. This reminds me of Candyman… in a way. Who knows. I’ve watched 30 seconds of trailer and stopped. hahah. little much!

Note – the writer’s/actor’s strike is shifting all movie dates up and down the calendar because everyone wants the actors to promote the movie, and they can’t when they are on strike. For example… Dune looks like it might shift. Poor Things definitely shifted. So I’ll update these dates as I learn more.
