Nope – 7/22
Let me just put this as honestly as I can put it… Nope is the must see movie of the entire year. Jordan Peele is redefining what horror movies are all about and what they are capable of. Residents of a small Californian town who discover a mind blowing discovery. The trailer points to more mind jobness from one of the greatest movie makers today.
Flux Gourmet – 6/22
This one scares me. I’m going to need more than one of you to tell me whether or not it is watchable before I’m jumping in here. And yet, at the same time, the potential here seems really intriguing! I’m dying to know what you guys think of this one. Please let me know.
The Forgiven – 7/1
While driving to a party at a grand villa, a wealthy couple on the verge of divorce accidentally hit and kill a young Moroccan man who was selling fossils on the roadside. I’ve heard really divergent responses to this one. Some have loved it – some hate it and find it really lacking in any sort of depth. But, maybe that’s the point?
The Sadness
The Sadness is gory. Like. Yeah. Gory. But, if gore is your dish? And you adore zombie movies? I have started this one, and I will finish it because I’m very intrigued on where it was going, but I was on a plane, surrounded by lilliputians, and wasn’t thinking watching was appropriate at that particular moment. If you catch my drift. But yeah. This is one gory little film.
